How we verify charging data
We don't run our own lab. Every phone and charger on this site is built from published sources, and each page lists those sources so you can check them.
Where the numbers come from
- Manufacturer pages for advertised speeds and charger output labels.
- Independent lab tests (such as ChargerLAB and established tech publications) for real measured speeds, the charging standards a phone actually uses, and charge curves.
- The charger's output label — especially the PPS line, which decides whether phones like Samsung and Pixel reach full speed.
How a result is calculated
We store what each phone supports and what each charger outputs. The checker finds the best standard both share, then applies the lowest limit of the phone, the charger and the cable. When a result is calculated rather than taken from a direct test of that exact pair, we label it "estimated". Charge times are estimates based on a measured curve, adjusted for charger speed.
When sources disagree
If two good sources disagree (often because they tested a different regional model), we keep the phone off the site until we can confirm which applies to the Indian model.
How often we re-check
Every entry carries a "last verified" date. Entries older than 180 days are queued for review.
